Johnson F. Chesterson died Sunday afternoon at Culver Union hospital following an operation that terminated a short illness. He was 69 years old and lived four miles south of the city. He was born in Illinois and moved to this county while still a boy, becoming a wealthy and respected farmer. He was united in marriage to Miss Sarah Byrd of this county. He is survived by his wife and five brothers: Nelson, William, Milton, James, and Frank, all living in this county, and two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Clossin and Miss Emma Chesterson, both living in this county. Funeral services will be held from the residence Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment will take place at the Masonic Cemetery.
