Eugene J. Chrisman, 86, of 308 Waynetown Road, died at 11:15 p.m. Wednesday in Lane House. He had been a farmer and had worked for Lewis Shepherd for many years. Born June 14, 1889, at Chrisman, Ill., he was a son of John and Nettie Chrisman. He was married to Ruth L. Crumley on Sept. 24, 1914. She is deceased. Surviving are two sons, Robert and George of Crawfordsville; four daughters, Mrs. Morris (Alice Mae) Stull of Rt. 2, Crawfordsville, Mrs. Lawrence (Ona) Baker of Rt. 6, Crawfordsville, Mrs. Lewis (Naomia) Miles and Mrs. Dale (Emma Jean) Friend of Crawfordsville; 15 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. A son, Arthur, and three grandchildren are deceased. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Hugh Dooley officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Friday.--waw
