Waynetown, Dec 30 – George W. Cedars, 82, life-long resident of Wayne Township died at 11 o’clock last night at the family home, four miles SE of here he had been ill 4 years but seriously only 1 days. Born near Waynetown, Dec 14, 1850 he was a son of John and Mary (Mosier) Cedars and was married Nov 28, 1878 to Margaret Singer. He was a farmer and member of Christian Union Church. Surviving are the widow; three sons, Burton of Kokomo; Charles of near Waynetown and Oscar at home with a daughter, Miss Goldie of New Castle. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 o’clock Sunday afternoon at the Christian Union Church with Rev. OJ McMullen of Shelbyville, officiating; interment at Waynetown masonic cemetery. - kz
