Colfax – Charles A. Chenoweth, 88 of Lebanon R 5 died in his home at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday after an illness of one year. Born near Colfax, he resided here many years, moving to Lebanon in 1950. In 1897 he married Alta Dunbar who died in 1921. He was a member of the Church of Christ, Frankfort. Surviving are three daughters Mrs. Lester Harshman of Flint, Mich; Mrs. Janet Culver of Evanston, Ill and Mrs. PO Shanklin of Lebanon R 5 and one sister, Mrs. UG Murphy of Frankfort. – kbz
