Danville, Ill., Aug. 2—A boiler at the sawmill on John McFarland’s place west of this city exploded Friday. C. Chester, one of the hands, was killed; his father, John Chester, was fatally injured. Another hand named Williams had his legs frightfully mangled and it is though that he will not recover.
