Mrs. Pearl Lillian Clapp, 60, wife of Charles E. Clapp, died Wednesday morning at the family home, 504 Ray street. She had been in failing health the past year. Born November 15, 1891, at Waynetown, Mrs. Clapp was the daughter of John W. and Lydia Brown Cummins. She married Charles E. Clapp, November 26, 1939. A lifelong resident of Montgomery county, Mrs. Clap had resided in Crawfordsville 12 years. Survivors include the husband, and a sister, Mrs. Sylvia Harbolt, of Crawfordsville. She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at the Proffitt & Sons Funeral home, with burial at Masonic cemetery. Rev.
