Mrs. H. M. Clark died Thursday at 5:15 o’clock a.m. at the family residence on East Jefferson Street. She had not been in the best of health for some time but had been critically ill for only a short time before her death. The funeral will take place at the residence on Saturday at 10 o’clock, the services to be conducted by Rev. R. D. Trick. Interment will be at Oak Hill. Mrs. Clark was the daughter of Uncle Tommy Hall and was born near Waynetown Feb. 10, 1845. While attending the young ladies’ seminary at Ladoga she was converted and united with the Baptist Church, sustaining her Christian relations with that denomination the rest of her life. In May, 1872, she was married to H. M. Clark, who survives her. Besides her husband she leaves her father and four sisters, her sisters being: Mrs. H. M. Billingsly and Mrs. Perry Saunders, of this city; Mrs. Oscar Hopkins, of Lafayette, and Mrs. Howard Smith, of Indianapolis. Mrs. Clark was a most estimable lady and her work was a beautiful example of Christian womanhood.  -s
