Alamo, Dec 29 - Mrs. Lillie Clark, who was killed by the same train that carried her daughter-in-law 12 miles on the cowcatcher of the engine, Christmas evening at Indianapolis, was the mother-in-law of Fred Hartman, a former Alamo boy, Fred's 20-month old son who was with the grandparents at the time the automobile was struck by the train was hurled several feet, landing on a sidetrack and was uninjured. They were returning from a Xmas reunion at Ludick Avenue in Indianapolis. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hartman were not with the party. Fred Hartman is a grandson of the late David Hartman of Crawfordsville - kbz
