AGNES RANSDELL CLEMENTS

Mrs. Agnes F. Clements, 86, died at 12:30 p.m. Thursday in Culver Hospital. She had been in failing health several years and lived the last five years at the Ben Hur Home. A native of Thorntown, she was a daughter of Thomas and Mary Hendricks Ransdell and was born July 27, 1879. She married John H. Clements in Crawfordsville June 15, 1898. Mr. Clements formerly was a street commissioner here. He died Feb. 8, 1946. Mrs. Clements was a member of the First Christian Church. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Paul Swank of Lebanon and Mrs. Robert Dinwiddie of Anderson, and a son, Raymond R. Clements of Logansport, and three grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Preceding her in death was an infant son, John William, and 13 brothers and sisters. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Saturday at Hunt and Son Funeral Home, where friends may call. Rev. John Servies will officiate and burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. - kbz
