The funeral of AS CLEMENTS was held this afternoon at the home of the deceased on E. Wabash Ave at 2 o’clock. Rev. PC Curnick of Indianapolis delivered the funeral sermon and he was assisted in conducting the services by Rev. GF Craig and Rev. GM Shott of this city. A quartet composed of WM White; Charles McClamroch; John Farber and AA McClain sang. The honorary pall bearers were CO McFarland; Chase Harding; Charles McIntyre; Robert Williams; Dr. Sigmond and C. Voris. The pall bearers were RD Minnick; WS Coppage; James Sanford; WB Luster; Harry Eller and WC Wright. Mrs. RD Minnick, Miss Inez Todd, Miss Mary Sargent, Mrs. EL Paxton, Miss May Cook and Miss Eula Ramsey acted as flower bearers.

Mrs. George Shirley of North Lebanon Street and Mrs. Gunkle of East Washington went to Crawfordsville today where they were called on account of the death of Andrew S. Clements, an uncle of Mrs. Shirley and relative of Mrs. Gunkle. Mr. Clements who was a patient for several weeks at the Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis was taken to his home in Crawfordsville two weeks ago. Death resulted from cancer of the stomach. The deceased is well known in this county having formerly resided in Jackson Township - kbz
