The death of Dr. GE CLEMENTS in Crawfordsville last week recalls that he was the first to make the x-ray possible for local residents. A part of his original equipment is now at Culver Hospital. - kbz

Crawfordsville – Dr. George E. Clements, veteran physician, former school teacher and captain in the medical corps of the Canadian Army during the World War died Wednesday at Culver Hospital, following a stroke. He started practice as a doctor here in 1906 after graduating from Rush Medical College. He was also a Wabash College graduate. For 18 years, he had lived with a nephew, Charles Clements of East Wabash Avenue. Funeral Friday afternoon at 3 o’clock at St. Bernard’s church – burial in Oak Hill. - kbz
