Mrs. Hazel Marie Clevenger, 73, of 907 Ray St., died at 6:30 p.m. Friday at Culver Hospital. The deceased was a member of the First Baptist Church. Born Aug. 16, 1898, in Montgomery County, Mrs. Clevenger was the daughter of Elmer and Margaret Steele. She was twice married, first in 1917 to Hughie Edwards and second in 1931 to Leo Clevenger. Both are deceased. Surviving are one son, Raymond Edwards of Park Ridge, Ill.; four brothers, Frank Steele of New Market, Kelley Steele of St. Petersburg, Fla., Harold Steele of Detroit, Mich., and Clarence Steele of Crawfordsville; two sisters, Mrs. Nora Taylor and Mrs. Adean Huffman, both of Crawfordsville, and two grandchildren. Services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. John Servies officiating. Burial will be in Freedom Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday.--waw
