Mahlon Clevenger of Coal Creek Township died at his residence on the New Richmond Road seven miles Northwest of the city, April 12, of consumption. The deceased was 23 years of age and a highly respected young man. He had been through the South in search of health and failing to find it came home to die. The funeral took place from the family residence at 10 o’clock Sunday morning. Services conducted by Rev. Mr. Loder of New Richmond. Interment at Round Hill. - kbz
