Mrs. CLICK, 69, Jamestown, Dies Funeral Services To Be Held Wednesday Afternoon at M. E. Church Jamestown, June 26. Mrs. Hortense CLICK, 69, died at 1:20 o'clock this afternoon at her home in the south part of Jamestown. She had been in failing health for several years and seriously ill for the past three weeks with a complication of diseases. Mrs. Click was born Oct. 2, 1865, in Putnam county, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elijah Mount. She was married 35 years ago to James Click, who died in the spring of 1931. She was a member of the Jamestown Methodist Church and of the Church's missionary society. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Marvin Porter, who lives two and a half miles west of Jamestown, and Miss Sallie Click, at home; a grandson, Byron Porter; two great-grandchildren and a brother, John Mount, of Indianapolis. Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Jamestown M. E. Church. - typed by kbz

Funeral Rites Held for Mrs. Hortense CLICK Jamestown, June 30. A large concourse of friends and relatives gathered at the M. E. Church on Thursday afternoon to pay their respects to the memory of Mrs. Hortense Click, who passed away Tuesday. A quartet composed of Miss Miriam Steele, Miss Amma Lee White, Everard and Reid Camplin, sang "One Sweetly Solemn Thought," "Break Thou the Bread of Life" and "Lead Kindly Light." Rev. A.L. Miller, who has been pastor of the local M.E. Church, had charge of the service. Pallbearers were Cecil and Ed Click, Warren and Wade Graves, Byron Porter and Virgil Mount. Flower carriers were Mrs. Grant Dayton, Mrs. Cecil Steele, Mrs. Minnie Long, Mrs. Willa Cline, Mrs. Ed Click, Mrs. Warren Graves, Mrs. Wade Graves, Miss Rhoda Roberts, Miss Ruth Hickman and Miss Lulu Mount. Among those attending from a distance were Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Click of Roachdale, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Click, Mr. and Mrs. John Mount and daughter Lulu and son Virgil of Indianapolis, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Morrison and family of Monticello, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Click and Mrs. T. Click of Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. Warren Graves of Hillsboro, Mr. and Mrs. Wade Graves of Terre Haute, Mrs. Fred Radford, Mrs. Dean, Frank Routh and William Routh of North Salem. The burial took place in the Jamestown I.O.O.F. Cemetery. In the announcement of Mrs. Click's death there was a mistake in the date of her marriage. She had been married 53 years in place of 35 as the paper stated. - kbz
