Grace F. Clifton, 83 of 210 W Main died Tuesday morning in Culver Hospital. She and her husband farmed many years north of Crawfordsville. Mrs. Clifton was a native of Montgomery County born March 7, 1892, to William and Ella McMurray. She was a member of Youngs Chapel Christian Church. She married Russell Clifton on Jan 14, 1909. He died in Februay 1961. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, William and Ione Clifton of Rt 6, Crawfordsville; a sister, Minnie Dale of Crawfordsville; 3 grandchildren, Roy Royer of Canton, Ohio; Debbie Switzer of near Darlington and Jay Clifton, Rt 6; and four great grandchildren. A daughter, Mrs. Fred Royer died in 1965. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home where friends may call after 3 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery. - kbz
