Waveland - Bernard Clore, 75, retired farmer and life resident of Parke County, died Saturday evening in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville after a long illness. His condition had been serious the last five months. Mr. Clore was a son of Erastus and Elvie Keeling Clore and was born Dec. 9, 1893 in Parke County. He was married in that county Aug. 23, 1928 to Helen Garland, who survives. He was a member of the Byron Christian Church and a 50-year member of the Wallace Masonic Lodge. He was a World War I veteran. Surviving besides his wife are a brother, Verne of Waveland; two sisters, Mrs. Jewell Mitchell of Hillsboro and Mrs. Gladys McMullen of Rt. 2, Rockville, and seven nieces and four nephews. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Machledt and Servies Funeral Home here, with Rev. John R. Servies officiating and burial in Crawfordsville Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
