Doren Clore, son of Simeon and Mary Lusk Clore, was born in Montgomery County, Indiana Nov 24, 1852 and died Dec 22, aged 82 years having lived his entire life in the county of his birth. He lived the simple life and lived it in all his personal relations. He was a lover of nature, the woods, the trees and the birds. Mr. Clore applied himself diligently to business, sacrificing his health and strength that he might not be a burden to his friends in his old days. He was a man of exceptionally high character and moral attainments. Mr. Clore was an honest man and always had the courage to do the right and honorable thing. This is a great heritage. Although he was never united with any church, his life was a proof positive that he was prepared to meet his Savior. Mr. Clore had an abiding faith in the wisdom, power and love of God; that the eternal God will take care of those who believe in him. He believed in the fatherhood of God and the brotherhood of man; had no fear of the change that should come to him in passing form this life. Survivors are the widow; one sister, Mrs. Mary Shirk, nieces and nephews. - kbz
