JOEL CLORE

Word has been receive here of the death of Joel Clore at Thayer, Mo. Mr. Clore formerly lived near here, but moved to Canada, 27 years ago. For some years he has been making his home in Missouri. He is survived by two brothers and two sisters: Doren and Marvin Clore; Mrs. Susan York and Mrs. Mary Shirk.

Joel Clore was born near Waveland, Indiana Jan 2, 1849. He was married to Artimesia Graves near Lexington, Ky in 1877. To them were born two daughters, Mrs. Nettie Bean of near Thayer; Mrs. Julia Graves of Kansas City and one son, Gaines Clore who died in Tulsa Oklahoma, Aug 16, 1925. His wife, two daughters and five grandchildren, Mrs. Alice Piper, Edith and gale Howard and two small daughters of Gaines Clore, Roberta and Berniece survive him. Funeral services conducted by Rev. Freeman in Two Mile Church, interment in Two Mile cemetery. We wish to thank our friends for their sympathy and deeds of kindness. His creed was "The Golden Rule." Mrs. Artie Clore - Ozark News.
