Clore was read: Mrs Minnie Lou Sharp, a resident of Waveland for many years, passed away at her home here at 11 pm. March 27, 1938. Death was caused by a complication of diseases. She was the daughter of Paris and Mary Servies Conner and was born March 27, 1863 exactly 75 years ago. She was united in marriage with John Sharp who preceded her in death on Jan 7, 1934. Her pure, sweet spirit has returned to the God who gave it. She was converted and joined the Methodist Episcopal Church when quite young; was warmly attached to the faith, doctrines and practices of her church; and to her death, in belief, sentiment and feeling was a devoted Methodist. She was the organist for nearly 40 years. Having a beautiful voice, she sang by request at the funeral services of numerous friends. Stern principles of integrity were inculcated in the heart of this Christian woman by a Godly father and mother, giving her strength of character, and the courage to always do the right and honorable thing. She was true and steadfast in her friendships. Her life was one of usefulness. Though her suffering was great, she was patient; made no complain and without a murmur, accepted and inevitable. She is survived by besides the daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Foster, two dear little grandchildren, Dorothy Lou and john Lee, by a number of relatives and host of friends. She was truly a beautiful character; a noble woman. God chooses the rarest of flowers of earth for his heavenly garden. The deepest and most sincere sympathy of all who know her is extended to the bereaved family." Out of town folks were: Charles Link and Mary Miller of Elkhart; Mr. and Mrs RC Everhart and Norman Lee of Bloomington; Mrs. Bernice Ziegler and Mrs. Edna Hipner of Lafayette; Mr. and Mrs. George Davis and Miss Eunice Sharp of Crawfordsville; Mrs. Fred Sandusky and John W. Servies of Ladoga; Mr. and Mrs. Damon Booher; Mrs. Mary Taylor; Mrs. Bert Foster; Byron Miller, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Vancleve, New Market; Mr. and Mrs. DA McGaughey and Mildred and Mrs. Emma Barr of Russellville.   -- typed by kbz
