John C. CLOUSER, 69, a former resident of Montgomery County and a brother of Ira Clouser, Crawfordsville attorney died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Eula Bickerstaff 3320 N. Sherman Avenue, Indianapolis, Thursday afternoon at 3:40 o’clock following an illness of nearly 1 year. Complications caused his death. Mr. Clouser was born near Bowers Station and was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Clouser. He resided in Darlington until 25 years ago at which time he went to Oklahoma where he lived until two months ago. In addition to Mrs. Bickerstaff he is survived by two other daughters; 3 brothers, Ira of this city; Marion and Chelsey both of Bowers Station and one sister, Mrs. George Huber of Darlington. The body has been taken to the home of Mrs. Blanche Peebles, near Gravelly Run in the Overcoat Road where funeral services will be conducted. Interment will take place in IOOF Cemetery, Darlington. - kbz

Darlington - John C. Clouser, 69, a former resident of Montgomery County died Friday afternoon at the hom eof a daughter, Mrs. Eulah Bickerstaff, Indianapolis, following a year's illness. Mr. Clouser was born near Bowers Station, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Clouser. He resided in Darlington until 25 years ago when he went to Oklahoma and resided there until two months ago.  Surviving are three daughters, three brothers, ira Clouser, Crawfordsville attorney and Marion Chesley of Bower Station (note only two mentioned but according to above obit Marion and Chesley should be separated), and one sister, Mrs. George Huber, Darlington. The body has been removed to the home of Mrs. Blanche Peebles near Gravelly Run, where funeral services were scheduled for Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock with interment in Darlington IOOF Cemetery - kbz
