Bowers, Dec 2 - Mrs. Sarah E. Clouser, 86, died Tuesday morning at 4:30 o'clock at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Grace Bailey in Frankfort. Death was attributed to complications. Mrs. Clouser was born near Colfax Nov 13, 1861 the daughter of Samuel and Sarah E. Pruitt Payne. She married Jesse Clouser June 13, 1890. He preceded her in death July 20, 1944. A member of the Bowers UB Church, she had spent most of her life in the Bowers community. Surviving are two sons, Arthur of near Colfax and Curtis of Winimac, two daughters, Mrs. Ethel Long of near Kirkpatrick and Mrs. Bailey at whose home she died; 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 at the Williams Funeral Home in Colfax with Rev. Hugh Ashby in charge. Burial will be in Plainview cemetery near Colfax. Colfax, Dec 2 - Mrs. Sarah E. Clouser, 86, died today at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Grace Bailey 450 12 North Gentry Street, Freankfort after a short illness. Born near Colfax, she had live din the Bowers community all her life and in 1880 was married to Jeff Clouser who preceded her in death in 1944. She was a member of the Bowers UB Church. Surviving are two sons, AO Clouser of here, Kurt Clouser, of WInimac; two daughters, Mrs. Grace Bailey, Frankfort,, Mrs. Ethel Long, Kirkpatrick. - kbz
