Lafayette, Ind., Dec. 17—Fire slightly damaged the upper story of Peter J. Clark’s residence. After the flames were extinguished, the discovery was made that Clark’s 8 year old son, Joseph, had perished, having been suffocated. It is presumed that the child was playing with matches and set fire to the house.
