Clarkson - Peter

Peter Clarkson, aged 50 years, died yesterday afternoon at his home, three miles west of New Richmond. The funeral will occur tomorrow at 3 o’clock p.m. from the Methodist Church of New Richmond, under auspices of the K of P, conducted by Rev. M. H. Appleby. Mr. Clarkson was a good citizen and his loss will be keenly felt in the community. He served through the war in the 116th Indiana Volunteers and was a brave soldier. He leaves a wife and five children to mourn his loss.
