Mrs. Bettie Mae Sewell Clodfelter, 74, of Morton died at 4:30 P. M. Saturday, Jan. 9, in the Putnam County Hospital in Greencastle after a short illness.

She was born in Kentucky Dec. 16, 1890. She married Elmer Clodfelter who preceded her in death April 9, 1956. A son, Kenneth, also preceded her in death, April 10, 1950.

Mrs. Clodfelter was a member of the Union Chapel Church at Morton and the Morton O. E. S. She lived the greater part of her life near Russellville.

Survivors are six sons, Howard and Donald of Indianapolis, Willard of R. R. Greencastle, Lloyd of Acton, and Lyle and William David near Russellville; five sisters, Mrs. M???, Mrs. Allie Wilson and Mrs. Frances Harbison all of Russellville, Mrs. Edna McGaughey of Indianapolis and Mrs. Ruth Fullenwider of Crawfordsville.

Last Rites Held At Union Chapel

Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Mae Sewell Clodfelter, 74, were held at the Union Chapel Church in Morton this afternoon with burial in Hebron Cemetery.

Mrs. Clodfelter, who resided oh Greencastle, Route 1, passed away in the Putnam County Hospital at 1:30 Saturday afternoon where she had been a patient, since January 4.

She was born Dec. 16, 1890, in Kentucky. She married Elmer Clodfelter, who preceded her in death. She was a member of the Union Chapel Church at Morton, and the Morton O. E. S.

She is survived by six sons, Howard and Donald of Indianapolis, Willard of Greencastle, Lloyd of Acton, Lyle of Bainbridge and William David of Russellville; five sisters, Mrs. Allie Wilson, Mrs. Mattie Lea and Mrs. Frances Harbison, all of Russellville, Mrs. Edna McGaughey of Indianapolis and Mrs. Ruth Fulenwider of Crawfordsville; two brothers; 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
