Dennis Clodfelter Succumbs At 54 In Putnam County

GREENCASTLE - Dennis Clodfelter, 54, Rt. 1 Roachdale, well known Putnam County farmer and member of the Putnam County Council 12 years, died Thursday in the Putnam County Hospital at Greencastle. He had been ill only a few hours.
Born Feb. 11, 1903 in Putnam County, Mr. Clodfelter was the son of Clarence and Bertha Carrington Clodfelter. He married Mary Brothers, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Eugene Clodfelter of Russellville, a daughter, Mrs. Sue Ann Carroll of Crawfordsville, the mother, a sister, Mrs. Geraldine Marsteller, both of Russellville, and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday in the Community Church at Fincastle, of which the deceased was a member. Burial will be at the Hebron Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Whitaker Funeral Home in Greencastle until noon Saturday and then at the family home.
