Crawfordsville – Fred C. Clouser, 89, a retired mechanic, died at 5 a.m. today in Veterans Hospital, Danville, Ill. Born in Montgomery County he had lived most of his life in this are and before retiring he had operated a small engine repair shop at his home. He lived at Rt 7, Crawfordsville, Browns Valley. He was married here in 1922 to Caroline M. Wheeler, who survives. Mr. Clouser was a member of Bowers United Brethren Church and WWI Veteran. He was an Army Veteran of WWI. Surviving with the widow are a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Enola) Hendrickson of Rt. 7, Crawfordsville; two sons, Norman Clouser of Crawfordsville and Russell Clouser of Pompona, Calif; and one brother, Daniel Clouser of Thorntown. - kbz
