Mary A. Cogle, wife of John Cogle, died at her home near Shannondale on Sunday morning, aged 28 years. The funeral occurred next day at 12 o'clock at Providence church, Rev. Darnell officiating. The interment took place at the Mount Pisgah cemetery. [Same paper, same date, as item in local news for ORTH] P. 6, Col. 4 Mary, wife of John Cogle, died last Sunday. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Airhart at Providence church on Monday at 12 o'clock. Interment at Mt. Pisgah cemetery at 2 o'clock. Mrs. Cogle was well beloved by all who knew her. She leaves a husband and three small children to mourn her loss. The youngest is a babe a few days old. Notes: The maiden name of the deceased was Garner, daughter of Elias and Susan McIntire Garner. The surviving infant was Egbert Cogle. There were two living sisters, Stella (Threlkeld), and Bessie (Apple).
