WAYNETOWN – Word has been received of the death of Mrs. Freida Collins of Fanwood, N.J., wife of Millard Collins, a former resident of the Christian Union community. They were married while he was in YMCA work in Chicago. Mrs. Collins died June 29 while undergoing heart surgery in Jefferson Hospital, in Philadelphia. Her body was cremated and a church memorial service was held July 1. Mr. Collins, who was graduated from Waynetown High School, left July 18 on two weeks YMCA business in Switzerland. For many years he has been in YMCA work for which he has traveled extensively in Europe and other countries. – jlr
