Compton - Hampton

Hampton Compton, aged fifty years, died at his home in Darlington Sunday after a short illness. The funeral took place in Darlington Wednesday morning at half past ten o'clock, Rev. Buchannan officiating. Mr. Compton leaves a wife but no children. He was an excellent citizen and was prominent in the Odd Fellows society. - thanks to Kim H
