Samuel L. Conn, 67 years old, died at 7 o'clock Saturday evening at his home, 316 East College Street, Crawfordsville. He was born near Louisville and came to Indiana when only two years old. He was married to Mary E. Good April 3, 1879, to which union was born three daughters, Mrs. Ethel . Loop, Warsaw, Ind; Mrs. Elma Quillen, city and Mrs. Marion Kinsey, Phoenix, Ariz all of whom survive. He united with the Garden Baptist Church at Indianapolis in 1885 and remained a devout member of the Baptist Church. Short funeral services were held from the late residence Monday at 10:30 conducted by the Rev. CR Bunnell of Elwood. The remains were taken to Danville for burial. - transcribed by kbz
