William Wallace CONNER, 71 of Paterson, NJ a former resident of Waveland died suddenly Wed June 15, 1949 of a cerebral hemorrhage. Mr. Conner was born Aug 26, 1877 in Joplin, Mo the son of Mr. and Mrs. FM Conner. He married Grace MONEY at Mount Recover, Ohio. Mr. Conner was a graduate of the Waveland HS and Purdue University. He was a member of the Paterson Methodist Church. Surviving are the widow; one son, Howard of California; two sisters, Mrs. Laura Gilkey and Mrs. Robert Moore of Waveland, and one grandson. Funeral services were held Monday at 2 at the Machledt Funeral Home with Rev. Prevo officiating. Burial was in Old Union Cemetery. - kbz
