Mrs. Isabelle Wisehart Conrad, 69 years of age, died Thursday afternoon April 12 at Culver Hospital in Crafordsville, where she had been a patient since Sunday, Aril 8. She was taken to the hospital after suffering a cerebral hemorrhage while attending services at the Methodist Church. She was stricken just as the last song was being sung.

Mrs. Conrad, daughter of Louis and Georgianna Clevenger, was born June 10, 187t, four miles west of Darlington in the Campbell's Chapel neighborhood. In 1898 she was married to Henry Wisehart, who preceded her in death in 1916. An infant daughter also preceded her in death. In 1920 she was married to George Conrad, who died in 1934. Mrs. Conrad was a member of the Methodist Church.

Survivors include three daughtesr, Mrs. Tessie Stwalley; Mrs. Audrey Cox and Miss Rosaline Wisehart, all of Darlington; one son, Harold Wisehart of Clinton and two grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Methodist Church where the body had lain in state for an hour.

Rev. AL Miller, former pastor of the Church read portions of Scripture na doffered prayer. Rev. A.L. Vermillion present pastor spoke of Mrs. Conrad's last conscious hours, spent in the Church and her principles of the Christian character as shown by her every day life with her family, her neighbors and her many friends. He closed his brief address with a prayer written by Cardinal Newman.

Mrs. Herbert Royer sang, God WIll Take Care of You and Sweet Bye and Bye. Mrs. Lawrence Boots was the accompanist and also played while the family entered and left the church.

Burial in the IOOF cemetery followed the service. Pall bearers were Earl Woody; Will Weiliever and Roy Weliever; Harry Weliver; Harley Conrad and Louis Conrad. Flower bearers were relatives, member sof the WSCS and Mrs. Bert Brainard's SS class and teachers in the Darlington school.

Mr. Brainard of Brainard, Butler and Russell was assited by Lous Lemstra, owner of First Funeral establishment of Clinton and a person friend of the family.

Those attending the services form out of town included Ralph M. Pentreath; Hal Rayburn; Mr. and Mrs. Gail Hennis and daughter, Mrs. Mary Bingham and sons; Dr. SI Greene; Mr. and Mrs. James Pinson; Dr. Paul Casebeer; Mrs. Dorothy Whitcomb; Mrs. Mollie Marshall; Mrs. Lucy Marshall, all of Clinton; Miss Marie Stwalley of Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Weliever; Rev. and Mrs. Arvel Emmert; Dwight Emmert; Bernard Weliever, all of Indianapolis; Mrs. Jessie Cox and Mr. and Mrs. Cyril Cox and son of Crawfordsville. - kbz
