Miss Mary J. Conway passed away Dec 9 at 8:45 o'clock at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette, after an illness that had been prolonged into months but her suffering was endured in patience and with such a sweet spirit that it was always a pleasure to administer to her wants. Her death was caused by a complication of diseases. Miss Conway was born at Waveland on May 12, 1885 and had been making her home with her sister, Mrs. Marry Muinzer, 1020 King Street for some time. She leaves the following brothers and sisters: M.J. Conway, Needles, Cal; D.P. Conway of East St. Louis; John Conway of Terre Haute and Mrs. Muinzer. Miss Conway was a member of St. Mary's Church and a young woman of beautiful character. - kbz
