Mrs. Eunice Cook, 88, a resident of Veedersburg all of her life, died at 9 p.m. Monday in the Bowles Convalescent Home in Crawfordsville. She had been in failing health for two years and seriously ill only a few days. Born Aug. 19, 1873, her parents were Frank and Emma Wertz Gookins. On Aug. 1, 1891, she married James Cook. He preceded her in death. She was a member of the Veedersburg Methodist Church. Survivors include one son, J. Milo Cook of Crawfordsville; two grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in the Fishero Funeral Home at Veedersburg with Rev. C. H. Loveland officiating. Burial will be in Rockfield Cemetery at Veedersburg. Friends may call at the funeral home.
