HENRY COOK

Henry Cook, a prominent farmer residing two miles north of Darlington died at his home Thursday at 11 o'clock from infirmities of old age. He was born in Clermont County, Ohio Jan 17, 1833 and came to this county in 1866. The remainder of his life was spent on the farm where he died. He was the father of 10 children, one of whom John died 15 years ago. The others are: Edward and Mrs. Perry Marsh of Frankfort; Eugene of Romney; Everett of Battle Ground; Mrs. John Eppert of Thorntown; Grant, William and Mrs. Walter Schoen residing near Darlington and George at home. Mr. Cook's first wife died many years ago. His second wife survives The funeral was held at the home Sunday afternoon, Rev. WH Nicely of Linden and Rev. J.B. Johnson officiated. Interment took place in the IOOF cemetery. -- kbz
