The first death from measles occurred on Monday. Will Cook's little son Willie, aged 16 months died in the afternoon. On Wednesday morning the body was taken to North Salem for burial. Mr. Cook was accompanied by Rev EE Moorman and by Mrs. Cook's mother, Mrs. Bymaster. Mrs. Cook was too sick to go. Mr. Cook has had a serious time with measles and other sickness every member of his family having been sick within the last month.
