Lucy A. Coons, 82, died at her home 106 Vance St at 8:24 Friday evening. Mrs. Coons had been in failing health for the past two years and became critical during the last three months. Born February 28, 1874, Mrs. Coons was the daughter of James and Julia Tyler. She married William H. Coons. Mrs. Coons was a member and an ordained minister of the Spritualist Church. Survivors include one son, Clarence Coons who resides at home, four grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Mrs. Coons was preceded in death by her husband who died in 1948 and two daughters and a son. Funeral services will b held at 1 p.m. Monday afternoon at the Hunt & Son Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery at Crawfordsville. - kbz
