Coons - Mary Hester

RUSSELLVILLE – Mrs. Mary M. Coons, 71, Russellville, died about 11 pm Friday at her home. She had been in failing health for six weeks. Born May 17, 1898, she was a daughter of James A. and Sarah C. Dean Hester. She married Carl Coons who preceded her in death. She was a member of the Russellville Christian Church, Pythian Sisters, and American Legion Auxillary. Surviving are two brothers, Walter Hester of Russellville and Dewey Hester of Crawfordsville; a sister, Mrs. Lula Grimes of Russellville, and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Sunday at the Russellville Christian Church. Dr. Frank Helme of Greencastle will officiate. Burial will be in the Russellville cemetery.
