The Rev. Eldon Coons, 83, Brownsburg, died Nov. 21. He was a minister for Waveland Baptist Church, Danville Baptist Church and Bethesda Baptist Church in Brownsburg, retiring in 1980. He was also a motor balancer for Precision Balance in Indianapolis from 1963 to 1973. Services, 10 a.m. Nov. 25 in Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with calling from 5 to 8 p.m. Nov. 24. Burial: Brownsburg Cemetery. He was the widower of Esther Sparks Coons. Survivors: daughters, Eldonna Hendershot, Joyce Cupp; son, John Coons; brother, Ernest Coons; sister, Elizabeth Fruth; eight grandchildren; six great grand-children. - js
