Theodore D. Coons, one of the best known citizens of the township died in Crawfordsville Sunday evening. Funeral services at the home on Tuesday were attended by TM Sharp; Frank Seybold and Misses Mollie and Mabel Seybold. He was born in this township and lived on his farm on the Terre Haute Road until about a year ago. He leaves a widow and six children. Interemnt at Indian Creek Cemetery. - kbz
