The home of Perry Coffman, at New Richmond is indeed sadly stricken. A week ago two of his children were taken ill with scarlet fever. They passed through the critical stage and are now convalescing but in the meantime a third child, Anna, aged 4 years was taken sick and died Sunday afternoon. The burial took place this morning at the New Richmond Cemetery and was strictly private. Another child is very low with the disease and the youngest of the family, an infant has just begun to manifest symptoms of the disease. - kbz
