Maxine Coleman, 78, of 303 Meadow Ave. died at 2:10 pm. Thursday in the home of her great niece after a short illness. Ms. Coleman retired in 1977 from RR Donnelley & Sons Co after 32 years. She was a graduate of Mellott HS. She was born Feb 24, 1918 at Mellott to Thomas and Angelina Heater Coleman. Survivors include several nieces and nephews, and several great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Russell, Simon, Tom and Hershal; and two sisters, Bertha Myers and Lucille Harrison.
Graveside services are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Monday in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. There will be no calling. Powers-Priebe Funeral Home of Crawfordsville is in charge of arrangements - kbz
