Collings - Frieda

LADOGA – Miss Frieda Lucille Collings, 46, longtime resident of Ladoga, died at her home here at 3 a.m. Saturday. She had been seriously ill for a week prior to her death. Miss Collings was born Jan. 19, 1919, at Bloomingdale in Parke County, the daughter of Byard Guy and Georgie Collings. She was preceded in death by her father on Jan. 3, 1964. Survivors include the mother of Ladoga; five sisters, Mrs. Mildred Gilmore of Indianapolis, Mrs. Alberta Reedy of Rockville, Mrs. Nellie Schwanz of Arcola, Ill., and Mrs. Frances Williams and Mrs. Blanche Wetherford, both of Tuscola, Ill., and an aunt, Mrs. Cloe Myers of Judson. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the New Ross Christian Church. Rev. Albert Amos and Lester Swoverland will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Moriah Cemetery at Hollandsburg, Ind.
