Darlington, Nov 1 – James Lewis Wallace Conrad, 86, died at Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville, at 8:45 p.m. Monday after a 24-hour illness. Born in Montgomery County, he married Minnie Flanigan Sept 2, 1888. He belonged to the now disbanded Campbell’s Grove Methodist Church and the Darlington IOOF Lodge. Survivors besides his widow are a daughter and two sons, Mrs. Cora Sowder, Bloomington, R 4, Gregg D. Conrad, St. Bernice and Conrad at home (note: this would be Norman).
