Waynetown, Ind Sept 1 – Mrs. Margaret A. Cook, resident of this city, died here at the home of her niece, Mrs. Alice Barnett at 12:15 o’clock this morning, death was caused by a sudden heart attack.  Born near Waynetown oct 8, 1853, she was the daughter of James and Catherine Ball, pioneer residents of Wayne Township.  In Sept 1898, the deceased was united in marriage with Shadrach Cook and she and her husband took up residence near Colfax, Ind. Her husband preceded her in death 22 years ago and since that time she has made her home with her niece in Waynetown. Surviving are a brother, Robert Ball of Altoona, Iowa; three stepsons, Grant Cook of Chicago George Cook of Lafayette; and William Cook of Colfax; two stepdaughters, Mrs. James Rice of Colfax and Mrs. Stuart McGuire of Marion, Ind.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Baptist Church; services are to be conducted by Rev. OJ McMullen of Shelbyville. Interment will be made at the Masonic cemetery here. -kz
