Thorntown – Roy Marsh Cook, 74 of Rt 1, died at 2:25 a.m. Sunday in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette. He had been in failing health six months and seriously ill three months. Mr. Cook, a native of Montgomery County, was engaged in farming in the Shannondale and Darlington area. After retiring three years ago he moved to his present home, south of Thorntown.  In 1919 he was married to Mary Cox who survives. He was member and elder of the Bethel Presbyterian Church at Shannondale. Surviving with the widow are two daughters, Mrs. Vera Wethington of Rt 2, Thorntown and Mrs. Dorcas Alward of Wallace; a twin brother, Raymond of Darlington; and three sisters, Mrs. Roy Cox of Rt 6, Crawfordsville; Mrs. Harley Rice of Orlando, Fla and Mrs. Boyd Price of Rt 1, Darlington. -  kbz
