Mrs. Ruby Cook, 73, sister of John R. Basham, Sr.of Lafayette died at 1:30 a.m. Saturday in her home in Carmel. Born in Breckenridge County Ky Jan 29, 1912 she lived in Tuscola, Ill for 24 years in Darlington several years and in Carmel for the past 27 years. She was married to Harold Cook who survives. Surviving with the husband and brother, John R .Basham, Sr of Lafayette are two sons, Carl Cook of Ft. Wayne and Fred Cook of marion and one sister, Maxine Evans of Crawfordsville. Burial in Crawfordsville. – kbz
