– Crawfordsville, Nov 14 – While the funeral of Shadrick Cook was being held at his late residence, near Darlington, the house caught fire and the roof was burning fiercely when the flames were discovered. Those in attendance hastily organized a bucket brigade and soon had the fire under control. - kbz
