Friends may call 3-7 p.m. Tuesday, Machledt & Servies Funeral Home, Waveland (for Arthur Cooksey).  Service there 1 p.m. Wednesday. Interment Greenlawn Cemetery, Darlington. Surviving are 6 grandchildren. Preceded in death by 4 brothers, 2 sisters.

 
Same page – Crawfordsville – Arthur Cooksey, 90, of 712 Sloan St, died at 6 a.m. Sunday Jan 7 in Culver Hospital. Mr. Cooksey was born Nov 3, 1905 in Spencer, Ind. His marriage was to Hazel Hulvey. She survives.  He was a retired farmer in the Darlington community. Mr. Cooksey was a member of the National Rifle Association. Also surviving are two foster sons, Alan Franklin of Lancaster, Mass and Charles Franklin of Waveland; three brothers, Cecil Cooksey of Williamsport; Alvin Cooksey of Winnebago, Ind and Earl Cooksey of Plainfield and three sisters, Elma VanDeventer and ina Sheese, both of Gosport and Irene Jackson of Alexandria, Ind. - kbz

Arthur Cooksey, 90, of 712 Sloan St., Crawfordsville, died at 6 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 7, 1996 in Culver Hospital. Mr. Cooksey was born Nov. 3, 1905 in Spencer. His marriage was to Hazel Hulvey. He was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters. Visitation was Tuesday at Machledt & Servies Funeral Home, Waveland. Service there on Wednesday.
