Coons - Mary Helen

Source: Crawfordsville Daily Journal Thursday, 23 March 1893

Mary Helen, only daughter of T. D. and Nora Coons, died at their home near New Market, March 21st, 1893, at the age of 6 years, 11 months and 20 days. Helen was an unusually bright, tender and affectionate child. Her sickness was protracted through months of intense suffering; and her death could hardly be unwelcome, even to those who loved her so tenderly, as there was no hope that she could ever be well again. She has only gone before. Rev. G. P. Fuson conducted the funeral services, choosing for a text, the words,” And a little child shall lead them.” The family has the sincere sympathy of a host of friends.
